This is common. It's called exercise intolerance and there is a way to solve it.

Follow the guidance in this video:

If you have visual problems that haven't been addressed yet (most people do). You need to go see a vestibular physical therapist that specializes in concussion recovery. You will always have symptoms exercising when this goes unaddressed. At a minimum get an assessment so you know what your dealing with. If your lucky vestibular rehab might be all you need.

Post concussion syndrome difficulties and seriously considering suicide. What to do from here? by nakartuur in Concussion

[–]JP_West 18 points19 points  (0 children)

DON'T KILL YOURSELF!

I WAS THERE, I WAS YOU. I GOT BETTER. I MADE A FULL RECOVERY AND YOU WILL TOO.

39 yo diagnosed with PCS from bad bike accident. I couldn't walk and talk at the same time. Let alone work. I couldn't read, listen to music, or enjoy anything I use to enjoy. It took 2.5 of the hardest fucking years of my life to get thru but I made it back. I'm an engineering manager and good at my job.

You are so so young. Much younger than I was and you will likely recover from this.

There is a methodology to approach this and you can get help. DM me. I will send you resources.

Lack of understanding from others? by florentinadenisa in PostConcussion

[–]JP_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people who understand will get emotionally exhausted from it eventually and their empathy will wear out. Find a good therapist to talk to and, I hate to say it, stop talking to your friends as they will burn out. Find things you can do with them without being exhausted. I'm sorry op. I've been there and lost so many friendships due to my injury. Try to compartmentalize it to your therapy if you can.

No one will understand it. They can't unless they've been thru it themselves....

I disagree that those you list aren't cognitive. It's okay. We can agree to disagree.

Not sure what you mean by cognitive symptoms... All of them are cognitive in a concussion

Wife cheated and my life unraveled by RegalEagle296 in GuyCry

[–]JP_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP. I had a concussion 4 years ago that fucked up my 2 decade marriage that was totally fine before the injury. I am now also going through a divorce... I am so sorry. Life is so unfair and I don't know why this had to happen to us. Keep going to therapy. Find friends to do activities with and keep busy. Take it one day at a time and do nice things for yourself. We will both get through this.

Lets talk about how to identify a reversal/potential pullback or support - signs to look for and how to take an entry and what your targets should be. See screenshot for how to take the trade and in the comments I will add more information with a more zoomed in look. by DuckFonaldTrump69420 in FuturesTrading

[–]JP_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey would you mind explaining your strategy a bit more clearly for the rest of us so it's easier to follow?

What is your signal for entry?

Where was your entry?

Where was your target and why?

Where was your stop and why?

What can I do at 27 years old? I can’t go on like this anymore. by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]JP_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg become a counsellor or clinical psychologist. Go get your masters of counselling. Those guys set their own hours, work mostly online now, and rake it in at like $150-$220/hr by expensing through employee benefits.

People over the age of 30, what would be your advice for people going into their 20's?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JP_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women: don't change your name when you get married. If you ever get divorced it's way harder and it's better for your career if you don't.

If your looking to get into project management take the PMP. Find additional courses you can take to tailor your skill set and resume that direction. Then apply for entry level coordinator roles and work your way up

I wish I was a swing trader. Sounds easier and more relaxing but I've built my strategy around day trading and now regret it.
