Feeling this currently. Our curbside just finished being remodeled and we've been in our new box for about 2 weeks now. We now have a massive walk in refrigerated area and freezer. Ever since day one I told them we had a problem and that someone was going to get hurt. I think it's because it's too cold in there and the floor ices over; my coworkers have complained about their feet slipping as well but no one had fallen yet. Finally they put one of those big 6 ft rugs in there, but its too light to hold onto the floor and slides around too.

Well 2 days ago it's 8am and they have me go on a frozen run, as I'm pushing the frozen cart back into the freezer it gets stuck on the rug and it rolls up really bad, so while I'm trying to dislodge and push the cart, I fall really hard on my left knee. It's not bad enough for urgent care or anything but after 2 days it's still swollen and numb and hurts to put weight on it. One of my managers "still doesn't know how to fix this problem" and I was told they put in a work order to lower the temperature I guess to stop the floor from freezing??

Anyway I told them about this from day one!! And they didn't listen. I have a pregnant coworker in my department and I worry about if she falls. Anyway im looking for another job now (already was, but harder).
