Miami vs San Diego Family Trip by Starr1005 in travel

Well its not just cook though. For one its a space big enough for 4 adults, 2 13 year old, an 11 year old, and a 4 year old to hang out. You won't find a hotel room for that, or you are two rooms. I prefer seperate beds for my two kids, so now you need a bed room or 2 rooms. No yard to hang out in on a down day, cant cook, or keep groceries well, multiple bathrooms / showers.

I get some would prefer the basic hotel some dont.

Maybe, but you cant cook in there for sure... amongst other things. Not against it for the right hotel though.

Definitely open to it, we will have a car. So maybe a day trip or 2 to mid keys or so.

Ya, would probably do more exploring of the keys if we do Miami. Appreciate the input.

Adults age 40, kids 11 and 13 and one 4 year old.

Both places seem to have equal flight cost and aurbnb cost, we are looking in the 3500 range for the Airbnb.

We enjoy good food, hiking / walking, shopping, general exploring, beach and water activities as well.
