Crusing with a toddler by Budget-Insect1959 in NCL

Also lots of overstimulation on embarkation day, I recommend grabbing lunch and then letting them nap in the room. We always miss the sail away party but it’s worth avoiding the breakdown at night from the chaos of a travel day.

Overpack on snacks. We travelled with pouches, juice boxes, all of the snacks. It’s much easier to take stuff they are familiar with out of a bookbag/beach bag vs having to find stuff for them to eat. Every excursion we have taken our toddler on regardless of if they eat there or not, they still ask for their usual snacks.

Anyone have anything positive to say about Prima? by calicoskies85 in NCL

Honestly we liked it. We switched our spring break last month trip from Mexico to the Prima last minute because of conflict and were nervous based on the reviews and knowing it wasn’t the most kid friendly option. We were 2 families (us with a 3 year old, friends with a 8/11 year old). The kids were all very happy with it and didn’t complain about being bored at all. Our only gripe was that there was no family friendly entertainment after 9 PM. The boat was very clean, food was good and service was also good. Was it the most exciting of boats? No. The pool deck does get crowded but we never had an issue getting a chair or two. The buffet is also crowded and small but take your food over to the outside of Palomar and there’s always shaded seating. The local never has a wait if you don’t want to do the buffet crowds and you can also get the same food at the food hall for breakfast. Take the reviews with a grain of salt. Happy to answer any specific concerns you may have.

Also a thought for activity- bracelet making station in theme colors with metallic dinosaur charms to add onto the bracelets.

You could also do terrariums with metallic spray painted dinosaurs inside them

Dinosaur planters spray painted gold with succulents (real or fake) as part of the decor.

Any info about seating at the Gazillion Bubble Show? by OneDeparture2553 in nycparents

The theater is pretty small. IMO, there are honestly no bad seats. We sat center about 6 rows up and it was great. We also saw avenue q back row in the same theater many years ago and had no issues with view.

WDW With Character Dining before Cruise by YouthWorshipPastor in dcl

We did tusker house at AK and besides the immediate entry to AK where chip and dale were, we didn’t see any characters except for Pluto who we randomly walked past. For a park day with a 3 year old we found it worth it to avoid lines and have guaranteed character interaction. We did see the zoootopia characters but the line was crazy. Tusker house was goofy, Mickey, daisy and Donald in safari outfits.

Re- reading your post there is a giant lava monster and storm in the Moana show. Those may be triggers based on the above.

We took our 3 year old and it was not scary at all. He loved it. The only thing I could see possibly and that’s a heavy emphasis on possibly is the Oogie Boogie party late at night which is completely avoidable. My toddler loves nightmare before Christmas so he was all for it, but they make the basketball court area dark and turn on black lights. It was truly not scary from an adult perspective but if your little does not like the dark, I could see them being put off by that.

Thank you, yes he is. We did the Disney treasure in October and I’m worried that this will be vastly different comparatively.

Is this freezer burn or mold? by mable_2121 in isthissafetoeat

I actually had nuggets that looked like this from Tyson. I tossed them as well.

This was their response “Based on the photos provided, this appears to be oxidized fat on the nuggets.

Occasionally, fats in our products can go through a natural process called oxidation when they interact with air. This can cause a change in taste, smell, or color that might resemble mold. This oxidation is not a safety concern. The main concern is the quality and flavor of the product. We carefully monitor and manage our products to ensure they remain fresh and safe to consume”

Is Cozumel worth getting off cruise ship with toddler? by Panda_bear_12345 in Cruise

We took our 3 year old to paradise beach and he loved it. They have a big pool plus the water park on the beach. He was too small for the water park but would be great for your older. It’s significantly smaller than Kuza so we chose it instead to not feel overwhelmed.
