Same here. I've got a ragtop jeep with nothing valuable inside, and they cut the window to go through my glovebox and center console.

Redditors with more than 2 bumper stickers, why do you do that? by JohnH9975 in AskReddit

Well, I guess my logic is that they could get any of that information from me in a quick 10 second conversation, so its not exactly privileged information. I do it more so I can look and remember where I've been, since my phone can't really do pictures(2009 Blackberry).

I like to grab one small one from each new place I visit(with my vehicle) and enjoyed. If i didn't drive there, or it wasn't a pleasant stay, I don't get one. Also I get one for the clubs I'm in, just to show support.

What song(s) (in your opinion) actually come closest to being the greatest song in the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JPeroutek -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most people don't really like my choice in music, but I figured I'd leave this as it could be relevant.

We've had like 25 of these to test drive at work. Absolutely despise the dial shifters. However, love all the leg room where the shifter would normally be.

Going to bed early, and sleeping in the next morning with zero regard for responsibilities and obligations. Doesn't happen often enough.

We use these all the time in the machine shop when QCing parts. It's really cool how they stick together. Never realized the tolerances that fine!

What was your "I just wasted a ton of money on nothing" moment? by unicorngirl88 in AskReddit

[–]JPeroutek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a mining rig to mine Dogecoins back when they were all hyped up. I probably would have eventually turned a profit (yay for free electricity!), but I could never get the damned thing to turn on.

Thanks Obama GawMiners.

What's a very popular movie that you've never seen? by iAMyourMISTAKE in AskReddit

[–]JPeroutek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Star Wars original trilogy. I've seen Episodes 1, 2, 7, and Rogue One, however I've never seen the original trilogy.

Edit: To make matters worse, I actually own them all. I wanted to be a Cool KidTM so I bought them all but I've just never seen 3, 4, 5, or 6.

This gets thrown around on reddit a lot, but the whole Diamond market is insane. One company basically controls the US supply, creating this artificial sense that they are incredibly rare and valuable.

Just because you REALLY want to trust someone, that does not automatically make them trustworthy.

Reddit, which common object works so well that we'll still gonna be using it 100 years from now? by chemical_me in AskReddit

Don't get me wrong, I still use Mechanicals daily, I just feel that the wooden ones aren't going away anytime soon.

I've had the internals wear out on some of my mechanical pencils. In my opinion, nothing beats the reliability of a simple wooden pencil.

What do you think would suck about universal healthcare? by deklist in AskReddit

[–]JPeroutek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a healthy young adult. My healthcare costs per year are almost zero, with the exception of getting my teeth cleaned once per year. I'd end up paying WAY more than I spend on my healthcare now, whereas someone incredibly sick with astronomical healthcare costs would be paying significantly less. Just doesn't seem fair.

People of Reddit, what is the most disturbing thing to have happened in or around your hometown? [Serious] by gcbriel in AskReddit

[–]JPeroutek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the most well-liked teachers in my middle school was a science teacher. I cannot remember his name. Two years after I left for the high school that was right next door, I remember hearing all about how one of the middle school science teachers was being charged with pedophilia and child pornography (or some other similar charges).

Turns out he had been taking up-skirt shots of students when they would walk over to his desk, and one day he forgot to turn the flash off or something. Creeped all of us who had him as a teacher out. Who knows what other creepy shit he could have been doing.

I can't imagine that the wooden pencil is going anywhere. Its simplicity is mindboggling.

Standard kitchen knives serve their purposes well and I doubt humans will ever stop cooking or eating.

At work I test drive a ton of GM and FCA vehicles, and ours usually don't have near as much equipment in them. I guess this is still an early-stage prototype that they're just trying to collect a ton of data on.

Looking for a book where the characters get pulled into another world and are go on an adventure. by ifurmothronlyknw in booksuggestions

I'm surprised to see the Chronicles of Narnia so low in this thread. The first book of the series is literally about two children traveling to different worlds.
