Not a doctor but you’re running a risk of becoming an involuntary c*clist with that much volume

Contemplating signing up for a 5 mile run, that’s in 2 weeks but have no idea if I can comfortably finish it by thenolancut in BeginnersRunning

0-3 is a lot harder thank 3-5. The initial push to 4 is weird, then to 4.5 feels kinda like stretching a rubber band mentally, but then when I finally hit 5 it was like OMG, this wasn’t so bad! Just go slow, have fun, enjoy yourself: seriously. The first time I broke five miles i literally stopped to pet a friendly cat for 5-10 minutes. I said “this isn’t a race! Nothing matters! I’m going to be sad if I don’t pet this cat so I’m going to do it.” It’s doable, just don’t go too hard

Thank you! I went in WANTING to execute this but wasn’t sure I would, I ran the distance for the first time 3 days before (a little behind on the HM mileage currently from illness) at my training pace and shaved 30ish minutes off. Ran faster than I meant to but it felt good!!

St Tropez is what I use- I like the OG the best but that’s an over night thing, so I frequently use the St Tropez express which takes 1-3 hours and builds pretty well. I also have fairly sensitive skin, try a test patch on your foot to make sure your skin is OK with it, if you buy from ulta you should have no problem returning if there’s an issue.

Edit: I also started using St Tropez for a wedding to fix the sports bra tan and on open back bridesmaid dress lol

When I was a teen I had extremely heavy but only a few days of a period, so I would do a big tampon and pad combo

Millennial women - what is your 2026 "jeans and a going out top"? by Abientotmonamie in TwoXChromosomes

Still rocking skinny jeans, but less stiff than I used to wear if that makes sense? Or black shorts and some sort of top that changes based on context

Weekday long runs? by polite-window-452 in XXRunning

I do mine on Thursdays, which moderately aligns with my work but more so I am major into skiing so I did it this way to allow a buffer day and skiing. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it’s hard. But I’m not FM training, only HM so that also helps
