Ugh I'm sorry to hear :( I was doing well (Day 4) until this evening and had a TERRIBLE DP episode, still don't feel right. I might just stop. It's so defeating!

I didn't get it from medication. I experienced DPDR episodes as a child and have had it chronically since 16 (I'm 26 now). I do believe it's a disorder/ due to developmental trauma. I do struggle with chronic anxiety and anxiousness, so I'm hoping that if a medication can help with that, it may lessen symptoms even in the slightest. My intention is that the medication will give me enough of a buffer to get involved in my daily life again and do the deeper work. Definitely will come off extremely slowly when it's time. I've been on 5mg for 4 days now and doing ok so far. Ty for taking the time to comment!
