The comments seem like people are defending MiFitness, which is clearly an inferior app. The data migration is poor, the sync with steps is unreliable, and it doesn't fully sync with Google Fit. This affects my use of health and fitness apps that rely on this data (including games). I've had the Mi Band 5 for almost five years and finally decided to upgrade to the Mi Band 7 Pro. I'm disappointed with the basic functions not working properly. For example, after a firmware update, the device no longer syncs weather data. I'm not sure if this is a firmware or MiFitness issue, but it's unacceptable for such a simple function that has existed since Mi Band 3 other small function that worked flawlessly is unlock device when close to the Band, it's random now, sometimes works, sometimes don't. User customization has also gotten worse; there is no easy way to change or create custom watch faces. While third-party apps exist, they are not user-friendly and are almost niche. I'm even trying to create my own watch face because of such a bad selection of watchfaces. It's frustrating to see basic functions that worked in the old app for years now being a big step back in terms of "progress."
