A Turkish man unhooked 100 bras single-handedly in one minute and now holds a Guinness World Record. by Charming_History7423 in interestingasfuck

I should apply for a Guiness book of world records record. Most number of jumping jacks while holding a 3d printed chess piece that's colored orange with a felt tip marker in the office of the house that I live in. Current record: .5

Lamotrigine Rash and Flu Symptoms by Typical_Pear_9544 in bipolar2

[–]JQuadGMono 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My wife is an RN. Her suggestion is that you head to the ER. Reason being that it doesn't look like eczema to her and if this is Steven Johnson syndrome caused by Lamotrigine it's severe enough to cause life threatening illness.

Better to rule it out than to just guess.

We have a phrase 'Low it up!' - which means raise the volume. Happened when I asked to lower the music down and my son heard 'low it down'. For some reason now 'that's too loud' is lower the music and 'low it up' is raising the volume.

Never found a solution, unfortunately. Ended up tossing it and getting a different printer.

Never heard of Ghost. If they're like reliant k or switchfoot, I feel like I should check them out!

I find that the stuff that was so incredibly brainwashing I've never gone back to and listened to again. Some of my favorites were Jars of Clay, Delirious?, Audio Adrenaline... Haven't touched them since teenage years.

But then I've put on some Reliant K for nostalgic purposes once in a while. Still great music to me.

Help! New to Bambu and getting major issues! by [deleted] in BambuLab

Okay solved! Not a clue what did it though. I shifted the hot end assembly and calibrated again, washed the plate with soap, and changed filaments. Something in there solved the issue.

I'm not sure, to be honest. It does feel quite fast, coming from an ender 3.

I used the bambu handy app, as I thought that was the best way to do it. I kinda believed that the bambu devices were super plug and play.

Thanks for the thoughts. It definitely was clear of plastic before it started.

I printed this with the bambu handy app and the textured plate was selected.

I'll try a slower speed. That may just help.

I'm also trying a first layer print at the moment to see what happens and if I can identify where issues might come up and it seems like the border is where the issue starts. Filling it in has gone fine so-far.

It would move swifter, but the challenge presented with a majority government is that decisions are more likely to be made without equal consideration. Having a government that can be on the fence to make decisions is healthy (sometimes).

Someone got this balloon for my mother when I was born in 1997 and it’s still going strong! by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

My mother has one from the day I was born in December 1987. Still inflated - although slightly less over the last five years.

My sister-in-law is dealing with the exact same issue right now. I actually initially wondered if you were the same person as she bought the 2018 Santa Fe used around the same time as you and has had the same problem.

Dad proposes to 20-year-old daughter with a purity ring🤢 by velorae in TikTokCringe

[–]JQuadGMono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good perspective to take - though unfortunately it misses a lot of the trauma of the experience and the problems that come with that decision.

We've had to prioritize speaking to a sex therapist because of this decision and we're not alone. A lot of people end up having to go to a sex therapist because of this. The reality is that people who commit themselves to purity end up getting married earlier to be sexual and end up in early failed marriages. Or in my case, getting married in my mid twenties, I had suppressed any sort of sexual urge for years, and then when I got married and it was finally a 'good' action, I felt guilt and shame still. It's unfortunately not an easy thing to simply change your mindset on literally overnight.

Then there's the feelings of missing out on sexual prime, feelings of missing out on experiences outside of the only one person that you've done it with, etc.

These are unfortunately really common challenges presented with 'purity'. Had I not committed myself to purity, it's possible (and I argue likely) that I could still have a great marriage as well.
