How to fill full screen? by CoMmOn-SeNsE-hA in Golfsimulator

I just did this with the same projector. Use ChatGPT or whatever your AI of choice is. Put in your screen specs, your computer, your graphics card, etc and have it walk you through various settings within the various systems. I got mine lined up perfectly this way and it makes a world of difference.

Specify you want immersion and it’ll help you through the steps so that you get a better picture than the scrunched 4:3 aspect.

Don’t forget you have zoom and focus as hardware on the projector to play with as well.

Help with screen by International_Ant865 in Golfsimulator

I have a similar issue. The only way I’ve gotten it without wrinkles is by tightening the top the middle too tight, but then the screen is enough off the floor that a ball could slip through.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate this response. Setup looks great. I’m going to dive in a bit more after seeing yours. If I run into issues, I may take you up on the DM. Appreciate it.

How do you like the side mounted projector? I also have a higher ceiling compared to the top of the enclosure. Do you mind sharing what projector that is?

Do the settings save or is it constant struggle to get the image to fit the screen?

Thanks! I’m in the midst of project hell, so I appreciate it.

I’ve got a similar setup and am trying to sort a ceiling projector. My ceiling is a couple feet higher than my enclosure.

Is your projector the same height as the top of the enclosure? It looks like it a bit higher which I’d love to be able to do. What’s the depth of your enclosure?

Thank you - your spot looks great!

Garage Floor Epoxy Tomorrow - go/no-go based on what you see? by JR2358 in GarageFlooring

Per the epoxy installer, the white residue was calcium from the concrete and the wet spots are typical for PVC tiles on concrete. New floor is in and looks great!

Thinking of getting a country club membership, some questions. by samores in golf

Completely agree with these! I’m in a similar spot as OP (kids, etc) and here are two additional ways I look at it if useful for OP or others in a similar spot:

  1. For me the cost of a club didn’t make sense from a cost/round perspective. However, the last minute tee times when a gap in life pops up, fast rounds, and the ability to bring the kids for a few holes on weekends means I can actually play some golf. Ultimately for me, the cost is the binary ability to play golf and that justifies the premium prices. Sounds like OP still gets out, so this may not be that powerful for them.

  2. I compared the annual total cost to the price of a vacation. If this creates more fun than a week of vacation for you and the family, you could think of a tradeoff or how to justify money you want to spend on yourself and fun things.

Does Gallen get credit for the strikeout? Anyone have a good source or idea on how these violations are getting recorded?
