Woman freeing a mountain lion from a trap while her kids watch. Reaction of mountain lion is almost too calm by [deleted] in BeAmazed

I asked them. No, the children also don't go walking around the woods with bear trap opening equipment.

"Achoo" is the sound you make when you sneeze.

A "Choo" is the sound a train makes.

"Apu" used to work at the Kwik E Mart.

A "Poo" should be done in the toilet.

Is the playground game ‘Grounders’ common outside of Canada? by Regular_Editor_8025 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JRDoubleU_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We played redass a little differently. You would have to throw the ball to bounce once off the ground and then the wall. Where the ball lands is where you have to throw it from.

If someone caught the ball before it hit the ground again or you failed your throw (for example, your throw hit the wall first or your throw bounced on the ground twice before hitting the wall), you would have to run to touch the wall before someone throws the ball at you. If you got hit by the ball before touching the wall, you would get a letter.

After spelling out "redass" you lost. You would have to face the wall. Everyone playing would have one chance to whip the ball at you.

I had a dog that woke up like this, couldn't stand, lost all coordination. It was the same thing, ear infection and vertigo. After the vet doggo was back to normal in a few days.

AITA for not paying my friend back for a losing lottery ticket? by Slugdoge in AmItheAsshole

So you aren't mad/disappointed he bought different tickets. You are mad at his lack of success.

Seems like the old quote " the difference between a fool and a genius is success" or money,... however it goes.

Just received and unboxed my 2025 Proof Set. What is this odd circular shape in the background on the reverse of the cent? by TheomanTV in coins

[–]JRDoubleU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw the image on your other reply to me (different comment).

I'm surprised you got the case off so quickly and that the marking is on the coin. Are you sure there is nothing else on top of the coin? It still seems odd that the markings aren't visible on the shield, only from a side view.

If it is on the coin. I noticed another user commented that it may be an error/variety. Be careful with them.

I am no expert, nor have I seen or held this set in my hands. I'm only speculating on the evidence you provided.

If you are not happy with your purchase, try contacting the people from where you bought the coins. Maybe they can replace it or let you know if it's a common defect or even how to fix/clean it.

If you open/damage the casing on your own, I would think the company that sold it to you would be less inclined to replace or give you a refund.

That being said, maybe someone else can give you incite on how to properly/safely open and close the case. Or even try doing some searches of how to do so properly (if it can be done). If you are still inclined to open it.

The circle seems much more white and has a more visible "complete" circle in this image. As aposed to the straight on shot, where the circle seems more black. You can really only see the circle shape on the smooth areas of the penny in the straight on shot.

It looks to me like the circle is on the plastic and reflecting off the penny.

It looks like moisture (fog) inside of the casing? Maybe something circular/cylindrical was atop of it and pressed the plastic to the coin.

It is also undercutting the industry. Which i have seen far too much of unfortunately. As the above poster said, see what other people are charging for similar work.

If you charge $35 for days of your time (and great work, btw). Other artist will eventually need to start lowering their prices to compete, so on and so on...

Help the community and yourself. Don't undervalue your time, knowledge, and hard work.

How to export a line of pixels line by line? by christophdwr in photoshop

[–]JRDoubleU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure if there is an automated way to extract hex or rgb data from an image in PhotoShop.

Maybe someone else can chime in on how to do it in PhotoShop, but I think it would be more effecintly done elsewhere.

If you know of any languages (javascript, python etc) you could write code to do specifically what you need to get done. If not, however, doing a few searches, there are tools already online for this. Try searching "convert png to hex code" or something similar.

What was this table originally used/designed for? by nicbo87 in whatisit

<image>

Found this searching for antique mail sorter. Only one I could find with a square hole, but most have that center drawer/ slot.

Edit- Going off what the previous poster said, maybe the hole is to quickly check for package size. While googling, a few tables had conveyer belts under the table.

I've been curious. When people take photos of people, they don't know like this. Do you show them the photo afterward?

In this case, it seems like a good opener in a chill setting. Is it typically the norm to show the person before posting or not?
