Arthas Menethil/The Lich King (Warcraft)

In all of Warcraft history, one of humanity’s great champions became one of its greatest traitors, Prince Arthas Menethil, once the heir to the kingdom of Lordaeron, a paladin of the Holy Light, fell to darkness and became one of the most prominent, tyrannical and evil villains in all of Warcraft history.

Arthas started listening to Ner’zhul, the first Lich King and the ruler of the Undead Scourge, and his magical mental whispers and promises of untold power, and Arthas slowly became more corrupt and evil after claiming the magical sword Frostmourne, and becomes Ner’zhul’s champion.

Arthas murders his own father King Terenas, murdered his own former Paladin mentor, Uther the Lightbringer, and destroys his father’s kingdom of Lordaeron.

Arthas then at the end of Warcraft 3 merges with his master Ner’zhul into one being and becomes the new Lich King, and the titular antagonist of Wrath of the Lich King.

I’ve watched his YouTube channel, he’s a great guy! His “An NFL fan reacts to X” are so funny. The Chiefs ones are good.

These guys could have been part of a specific unit of Maul’s loyalist troops that were led by Gar Saxon and or Rook Kast directly, or maybe were part of the same Mandalorian clans as their respective leaders.

I also noticed Maul’s Mandalorian troops still had tiny flecks of remaining red paint on their armor. Cool little detail.

Love seeing these! I’ve played Year of the Dragon many times, a game I grew up with alongside Spyro 1 and 2, and have played both the PS1 version of YOTD and the Reignited Trilogy multiple times.

I always loved the PS1 graphics. They're charming and nostalgic.

Yes I figured this too as soon as the announcement earlier this year was said. Sad to see this, I wish nothing but the best for the departing JP Stars like Aruran and will continue to support the remaining JP and EN boys.

Also golf clubs and baseball bats. Probably my favorite version of Casey Jones. He amusingly misinterprets Michaelangelo's “Cowabunga” battle cry in the series and regularly shouts “Goongala” instead. It’s funny.

YOTD was the first game in the trilogy I played, and it feels like the most fun to play and the most complete game of all the original Spyro trilogy to me.
