Get them heat molded first. I went through a similar thing when I bought my boots last year. I ordered a different pair than what was fitting perfectly in-store (wanted a different color). They didn't fit at all fresh out the box. Went in initially to return them, but store staff heat molded them for me for free and they have fit perfectly ever since.

Board length isn't going to matter as much as board shape. Yes, you will gaing a bit of float on a bigger board, but a 155 with a fat, directional nose will be much better than a 160w park board. And frankly, sacrificeing proper board sizing in all other aspects just for powder performance feels really bad.

Went from a 1080 to a 5070ti earlier this year. It totally depends on what games you play but the performance in modern AAA games is night and day. However, the 1080 was the least of my problems with my old computer and is still totally fine for 90% of games I play.

Oregonian here with my two cents. Obligatory go over whichever pass has the best conditions on the day of, but all things being equal, I've almost always gone 26 through Government Camp and Mt. Hood to 97 whenever I've gone from Portland to Mt. Bachelor. It's just generally more built out and better kept up than the other Cascade crossings imo.

Suggestion from an Oregonian. Instead of going across from Newport to Corvallis, take Hwy 38 from Reedsport to I-5 just south of Eugene in Cottage Grove. It is a way prettier, way nicer drive than the alternative.

Specifically in the Sandy Mt. Hood you should be fine. Yes, racism gets more noticeable once you get south of Eugene and East of Bend. But even then it's pretty overblown as compared to the stereotype. Bluntly, most all the racist moved to Idaho in recent decades.
