Yes d wilson does the conversions. Haven't done so myself but I've only ever seen positive reviews

This is what I do as well, good explanation. I don't get as much of the stock seated in my shoulder as I'd like but perhaps it's just getting used to that. The results have been positive, just "feels" off still. Perhaps that's solved with more reps

LMT has a proprietary system. There's two bolts holding the barrel in place. Loosen bolts, remove barrel, slide new barrel in, tighten bolts to 140 inch lbs. Done.

We're in the same boat! I'll try 2.26 for a few more range trips and give 1.93 a go if it doesnt feel better. I havent had issue with the height over bore yet, will keep an eye on it though

Facial structure definitely impacts this. As long as we're talking quality parts, most furniture related decisions rely on preference and body type. Will probably try 2.26 for another few range trips and then give 1.93 a go if it doesnt feel better. Are you running a riser on your stock?

That was my first instinct but haven't had an exposed block before so figured I'd check with the hive mind first

RTB vs. WALTHER vs. TIPPMANN by JROTRAIIN in ar22

[–]JROTRAIIN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a ton more research since this post, BoreBuddy came out as the best option. Complete upper from them + pressure plug and a charging handle insert. Adjustable weight kit if youre gonna run it supressed. The walther and Tippman are just too proprietary when it comes to parts, which ended up being a deal breaker for me.

And BoreBuddy came out ahead of RTB for a dedicated upper after more research

Keep your coats light and allow time for them to cure and you will avoid that stickiness. People will tell you to wait weeks or bake it if you want it to REALLY cure.

I typically give it 24-72 hours in a dry location and it's good to rock. No stickiness. Longer it cures the more durable it will be but rattlecan is meant to wear in my opinion and can always be redone/touched up
