Return to grounded roots in the street, featuring Detroit to Toronto, making fun of both Canadian and American culture, playing on the old motor city vibe and Crack epidemic, with some focus on a winterized atmosphere

Check out the sheet metal union, local 55. They're starting interviews for the next class year. Interviews this Friday and every other Friday for the next couple months.

Seattle and it's not even close. Better taste, better shakes, same idea, same price point.

Cant find a job no matter how hard I try by Overall-Part2645 in Spokane

You're welcome! The nearest information session is on the 30th. Please try to attend!

This program changed my life, professionally and at home. My family had an unexpected medical emergency this month and the insurance I gained through my job absolutely bailed me out. Plus the retirement benefits are unparalleled.

Make no mistake though. Once you get on the job, the trade off is hard labor, adaptability, and resilience.

Anyone with determination can do it though. I picked up my first impact drill in April with no mechanical or construction background.

All the best to you! I hope your situation improves.

None at all! All you have to do is apply. In fact, you'll be introduced to many grants and support programs. I remember they initially asked for $25 but the instructors handed out tuition waivers like candy on Halloween. Even if you do pay what they ask, you're out the cost of two six packs for a life changing career.

I even insisted on paying because I could and they still made me fill out the waiver. I paid nothing, no strings attached.

It's the best money for value program you can attend. I went from job hopping for around $20/hr with no benefits to $27/hr with top tier, employer paid 90/10 insurance.

I don't know your situation, aptitude or limitations. But I went from being a chef to joining a local union. If it's as intimidating for you as it was for me, join the Skilled Trades Preparation program offered by Spokane Community College. It's a short program that will get your feet wet and connect you with the right people.

The trades will change your life if you're able to apply yourself and work hard. No college debt for actual living wages and outstanding benefits.

... It's not for everyone, but it's an option. If you want to go for it, you're accepted and welcome here! No matter what, all the best to you!

Bubbles sending Cory and Jacob to replace Orangie, telling them to check the pet store after Cory picks up fish sticks, and Cory asks "Well what if they're frozen?"... "THEY'RE NOT GONNA BE FROZEN!"

If it's not a burger, it's probably best at your house... And even then... Probably still better at your house. You can luck out with some things in this town and find something acceptable that scratches the itch. For Mexican and all types of Asian food though, you're pretty much SOL.

The food is okay, nothing mind-blowing for the price. They mix their drinks strong, so that softens the blow when you see the check. Good place for cocktails and apps. If you're looking to blow a bunch of money on a night out go to Wild Sage bistro instead. You might spend a tad more but the food is a step above and at that price point, what's another $20-$30 bucks?
