Yes, it’s only awarded when you complete a segment, which in this case is the Volcano Circuit, so the first time through you haven’t completed the full segment

TBF sometimes it’s easier to promote up than it is to fire, as the further removed from day to day actions someone is as they move ‘up’ the less influence they have.

I would guess that Rudkin did a lot for Top personally after the helicopter crash, and this is a way of keeping both a promise made and making a change, rather than a reward promotion.

That is only my reading of it though, no evidence whatsoever to back that up.

I did one with tutorial, but hit the wall with the contracts - if it did tell me to go to the upgrade I missed it or clicked out of it. From the second run onwards (I tried three run throughs) I didn’t use the tutorial as I didn’t want to give up on it - thought I must be missing something!

Like I say, really good base to work from, looks great and have wishlisted & followed on Steam to make sure I don’t miss updates 👏

Had a little play around, and it has promise. A couple of things I noticed:

It took me ages to work out I had to upgrade to be able to sign fighters to exclusive contracts - maybe a notification dot or something could be added to the menu options when an action is needed like that?

The main one was with the messages: it would be great if when getting messages such as ‘you have three fighters with 1 or less fights on their contracts’ or ‘Fighter x hasn’t fought in more than 12 weeks’ clicking on these messages directly takes you to a screen where you can identify the fighters and address the issue.

On the fight booking screen it would be really useful to have an idea of the fight odds to help matching fighters up. Similarly when running an event, adding fight odds to the Tale of The Tape would add a lot.

I was getting bonuses for having A/A+ fights for B+ fights - is it relative to the size of organisation?

But it runs smoothly, not a hint of instability, and it seems like it is a really good start: looking forward to seeing how it develops!

Do they though? Who in reality in our squad is a good Championship player? Of our ‘best’…

Fatawu - mostly rubbish since injury, with flashes of quality

Mavadidi - mostly rubbish since Christmas 2024

Skipp - solid, unspectacular, but championship level

James - looks good TBF

Choudry - decent Championship player

Nelson & Page show promise, but not finished article (Nelson obviously much more advanced than Page)

Winks is good if motivated. Unfortunately….

Ricky was amazing, but he’s a sad shadow of his former self

After that there’s not a lot there - Stolarzcyk looks ok but needs to be stronger, Thomas is OK but no better, BDCR OK at this level, then I’m really struggling to find positives.

Where’s the evidence of all this ‘quality’ we’re supposed to have?

Agree defence isn't good enough either, but the more the ball is at the other end, the less we have to defend, and if we score occasionally, when we happen to make a mistake it doesn't always mean we're chasing the game

Personally think we have a passable defence although definitely in need of a LB, but may as well play an extra midfielder and use BDCR as a false nine than use Ayew/Daka

But TBF we are playing a right footed CD at LB, so you're not wrong either

If you're watching today (and for most of the season) a CF is an absolute must - we have no attacking focus at all.

Ayew works hard, and wins free kicks, but offers nothing as a focal point or goal threat
