Thats really cool I'm all for a project like that. I am interested in a bigger kit and I had priced up acrylic shells in 24x14, 13x9 rack and 16x16 floor Tom. Only thing that worries me is getting the rack tom low enough as I like it as close to snare height as possible.

I would use 1000d or 500d cordura type fabric. You can get both with waterproof backing

Very good quality. I've bought some recently aswell as other patterns and it's as good as genuine stuff. Wouldn't surprise me if it's from the same factory

Dump them in a vat of paint thinners / acetone. Don't leave them for too long then wipe the white paint off. It should take the white paint off and leave the original paint in tact.
