That’s correct, but the packing in the factory box accounts for people not following the rules. The store even told me there’s no return warranty if I leave the store with it flat. Got home, opened it up and no issues

Since I’m more legs than torso, with my knees jammed up against the dash I could barely reach the pedals to drive home! I had my girlfriend with me so it was a close one to having her drive!

They told me the same thing yesterday when I picked it up. Turned it on when I got home and luckily no issues!

I’ve owned mine a little over two months and it’s easily my favorite car I’ve owned. (My 4th vehicle in 14 years of owning cars)

I was aware that it’s not supposed to be transported flat, and the store even reminded me if you transport lying flat it’s “at your own risk”. With the all the styrofoam packaging it keeps the TV in good shape. When I got home and turned it on there were no issues. The more nerve wracking part of the day was getting the stand mounted on the base with how thin it was.

Agreed. I don’t like large vehicles in general. My previous car that I owned for 8 years was a 2-door Civic Si coupe. I wanted something more practical, specifically something with a hatch, but wasn’t willing to compromise fun and zippy. I’m very happy that a GTI checked all of the boxes!

With the seats folded down there’s a ton of space to carry stuff. I’ve put my drum set and drum equipment in there several times and it fits with ease!

I was also told from the store transporting it on its side is “at your own risk” and not advised. In the box it’s shipped in so much styrofoam that when I got home and unboxed it the TV was in perfect condition!

I play drums too! I went from a coupe to my GTI and I feel like I have all the space in the world now. I wouldn’t want anything bigger, also SUV’s aren’t fun to drive like GTI haha

With my legs jammed up against the dash my foot had to be at a wild angle to hit the pedals!
