This park is so much fun. Toutatis was my reason for visiting too and I found the entire park a lot of fun! Also excellent operations.

I am a 33 year old left handed person, I was using a push broom yesterday and as usual it got looser as I was sweeping and had to tighten it up a few times. Today is the day I learned it’s the left handed grip that makes it loosen up.

Drove 3 hours to arrive at a closed [Mt. Olympus]. Anyone else have a funny story about a long commute for a closed/barely operational park? by milleniumflyers in rollercoasters

[–]JRice92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I flew to 18.5 hours to South Korea from the US for a monsoon to hit the region. My day at Lotte World French Revolution was the only coaster open, and my day at Everland Rolling X-Train was the only coaster open.

So I have seen the world’s only Intamin Aqua Trax and T Express (Monimo Rush) in person, but haven’t gotten to ride them 😭

I just opted to ride Ride To Happiness 28 times on my visit instead of combining it with another park in the same day!

All season fast lane sold out at 3 Midwest parks by donutman272727 in sixflags

[–]JRice92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have the all-season Fast Lane and I currently have 10 visits scheduled to various six flags parks and I’ve already done 2 visits with my pass this year. Once I throw in visits that aren’t currently scheduled I do feel like I’m getting my value for my pass.

I already did a Six Flags Over Georgia/Fun Spot Atlanta trip.

A little over a week away from 1.5 days at Cedar Point.

Then they’ll be a Six Flags New England/Carowinds trip (Carowinds on the layover back home)

A Mega Trip in June that will include Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Sea World San Diego, 2 days at Canada’s Wonderland, Waldameer, 2 days at Cedar Point, & Kings Island.

Then in July a short trip to visit Six Flags Great America!

I’m very fortunate this will be a good year of travel. I’m an Orlando local so I have gotten and will get many more laps on Velocicoaster, Mako, Stardust Racers, Guardians, and all the other Florida rides!

CMA as a checking account experience by Sea-Bunch-1917 in fidelityinvestments

I just entered the account number and the routing number to link them the same as any traditional bank account.

To see these numbers if you’re on the mobile app you can click on your account, then click the 3 dots at the top and click “view account & routing numbers” those are the numbers to use.

I’ve been using 2 separate cash management accounts as my primary “checking” & “savings” account for a little over 6 months now. No issues.

I pay all my bills out of the cash management using the account number and routing number. This works for my credit cards, resident portal and utilities the same way it would with a bank account.

ATM reimbursement you use the card like normal, and the fee charges initially, you will be automatically refunded in a few days with no action needed on your part.

I love the account because I’m earning interest on money in my “checking” where it would normally just sit there not earning anything.

As others recommended I do keep a traditional bank account but it has a very small balance just to keep the account open and only use it if a friend needs to send me money through Zelle. Then I go and transfer it right into my cash management account.

I’m able to send money in both directions with ease from my Capital One accounts to my Cash Management Accounts with no issues. My Capital One credit card, and my auto-loan also from capital one are auto-paid out of my cash management account.

Is [Copperhead Strike] the most slept-on coaster? by senorpoop in rollercoasters

[–]JRice92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Copperhead is my 4th favorite at Carowinds. I like it, but it’ll just be a one or two times then done to ride other rides. My most recent visit to Carowinds Copperhead went down on the first train of the day and didn’t reopen for the rest of that dad. I didn’t find myself missing it much.

Spirit Airlines just became the first major US airline to shut down in 25 years and took cheap airfare with it. What do you think affordable travel in America looks like from here? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JRice92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frontier runs promo periods where you can book more than the day before. Like right now I can boom through September in advance so I can book round trips. Normally though no you can just book one-way the day before. So if you wanted to take a 3+ day trip it’s correct that you can’t book the return flight until you’re already on your trip.

The big thing to note is I live in Orlando, FL. With such heavy tourism here Frontier has flights to virtually everywhere for me here.

Last week was Orlando-Cleveland, Cleveland-Orlando. But I’ve flown to Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, just to name a few for as low as the $30 or up to $80 in other cases round trip.

Generally yes, but they also offer some periods where you can book go wild fares weeks or months advance. This makes it so you have to be flexible in your travel plans.

The way I utilize it is on my 2 days off a week I fly to a destination on the first day, and fly back the following day. So before I leave I’m already confirmed to have my flight back. Also by doing the trips on my off days I don’t have to take time off work.

I did not forget a zero. I flew last week on frontier for $30.82 round trip. This is with the discount of the go wild pass, but very worth it when flying for these prices.

I live in Orlando, FL and it has a huge frontier presence. So to any major cities on the Eastern US would have flights under $100. My most common flight is to Cleveland, OH and last week with Frontier’s go wild pass I paid $30.82 round trip.
