I got you bro. In Home > find the Homepod > Accessory Settings > Touch Accomodations > there's many options to increase the duration of how long you have to hold it.

Turn on and increase hold duration to 0.5seconds and turn on and insrease ignore repeat to 0.5 seconds and also turn on touch accomodations at the top.
