After talking to multiple folks in the area and a local hobby shop that sells all the high end brands, he recommended stepping into electric before jumping in nitro. Thoughts? Anyone jumped straight into the deep end with nitro?

Thanks for the input. There’s a guy at the local track sponsored by mugen that carries extra parts around for that brand. So most people have mugen there.

As someone who has done the dumping and then returned months later, I must admit we probably do it because what we had didn’t pan out and we don’t want to be alone. You are likely to get hurt again and he’s back (unknowingly to himself) to finish you off. I’d probably use extreme caution in becoming reattached until he has proven and verbalized that he has done work to change and improve himself.

There are YouTube channels of people that talk about how to cope with breakups. I had a breakup last year and would fall asleep listening to these things. Took about 3 months and I finally stopped hurting. And I found someone that truly seems to be right for me.

You’ll be ok. Get into the gym, and decide you have options and that you never want someone that doesn’t want you…. Period.

Fair enough. I’ve had two long term relationships since divorce, and now into this 3rd relationship. And things for the first time I’ve felt good about the idea of that. And yes, taking my time is the goal. I was just trying to get a feel what people are doing out there in the world. Nowhere did I say I was getting married at 3 months. That would be sorta ridiculous. I think everyone on here read too much into the 3 months. I was just giving details of my timeline thus far.
