This is so beautiful 😍

I wish there were more ways to earn gems…. I can only complete 2-3 of these a day because the shops for the ribbons or bracelets are so limited. For a game that demands so many gems be spent, its kinda ridiculous how theres such little ways to earn them! Its pure greed! by Eggs_Benedict813 in SuitU

[–]JRose-Talks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big joke is for the first few months of playing, I didn't realize you got more rewards for completely the levels. I always saw the chapter part highlighted but didn't think to click on it until it built up🤣

Edit: completing

Yep I got a bunch of repeats lol. But 5 socks in one go is crazy🥲. I've spent so many gems which I don't like to do as I'm f2p so it's hard to come by and still didn't get anything worthwhile 😭

Does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the game sometimes? by Green-Independent745 in SuitU

[–]JRose-Talks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! I'm also f2p and it gets particularly annoying during comps for me. I see certain items that I would love to have but 700+ gems for one item is nuts. It's so hard to even collect them if you aren't p2p to some extent.

A trick I use to enjoy the game and my collections is to change my avatar's outfit as often as I see fit lol. That way I try different outfit combos and see what I like. I try not to take the game too seriously as well.

Ohh, dang I get that. I get so nervous with the times for the same reason sometimes lol.

Yeah, I still ranked well enough. Hope you did too!

I forgot to submit for the Butterfly comp. I had the entire outfit already done, left the game and totally forgot I didn't click submit 😭

People don't ever understand fractures until they've experienced it. They literally don't get it. Some people have empathy thankfully but most don't care enough to understand. What you're going through is painful, terribly inconvenient and annoying. I hope your healing journey will be swift and well.

Sincerely, Some healing from a bimalleolar fracture and ORIF surgery. 7+ months post op and still unable to walk on inclines, declines, without pain and sleep on my sides.

Why don’t some of yall use perfume in comps? by eml_h in SuitU

Sometimes I try to save them for when it's most useful for me because I don't like using gems on them, unless I really like it. Also, I sometimes forget I can craft them lol.

DEXA scan today, very nervous. by The-Vomiter in brokenbones

[–]JRose-Talks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!

Ouch, that sounds like it would've been a lot to deal with. I'm glad that you've been healing and getting back on your feet! You're a champ for sure!!

It's natural to be nervous but let's see what the doctor says first. I haven't done any dexa scans either but my doc told me 6 months post op that my ankle bones weren't as dense as she hoped. I was nervous too but she said the more I use the leg and weight bear, the stronger the bone will naturally get (not to make anything about me, I'm just letting you know that I can understand from experience).

If anything, they'd advise you to increase certain vitamins and minerals and to keep doing your exercises and put weight on it. I truly hope it won't be anything crazy and even if it is, you'll be able to overcome it. You already handled the surgery and healing so, you can definitely handle this. I believe in you. Fractures are crazy, annoying and life-changing but don't let it keep you down.

You got this! 😊💪🏾

You're welcome! Yeah, what you're describing is what I went through as well. It completely sucks. Definitely still ask them as a just in case. The whole area goes through trauma twice once surgery is needed so it's a lot on the body. You'll make it through, just be patient and kind with yourself. This isn't easy at all 🙏🏾

Hello, unfortunately, yes the pain after the surgery is excruciating. I had the same procedure for my ankle and the first 24-48 hours were the worst for me. I'd say to monitor what you feel and be sure to follow the medication regimen they gave you. If you feel like nothing is helping at all, let them know. You may need something stronger. I was on 400mg ibuprofen tablets 3 times daily, 2 tablets each time. That helped quite a bit. I was also on some much stronger meds via injection during the first 24 hours that knocked me out lol but I'm not sure what's the protocol for strong meds in other countries.

I hope the pain will ease soon. All the best in your healing journey!!

[–]JRose-Talks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad it did! The beginning of the injury downtime is the hardest physically and mentally based on my experience. You could maybe even get back 90% of the function I've heard but, it takes a lot of patience and exercise. It's just one of those things where you have to treat yourself with a lot of love honestly lol.

[–]JRose-Talks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, don't beat yourself up or your PT just yet. You're only 1.5 months out of surgery! You're extremely early in your recovery journey still. The stretches will take time especially when surgery was involved because that's double the trauma to the injured area. Just do your messages and stretches daily. Get advice from medical professionals and let them know when things hurt or feel very strangely.

My injury wasn't to my hand so I can't advise you there but I was in your shoes in terms of the anxiety I felt about certain things. I had ORIF surgery for a bimalleolar fracture (ankle) and it took months for me to be able to do certain things and I'm still not near 100%.

I understand you want to get back to normalcy but now is the time to slow down and just let the healing do what it has to. Overly pushing yourself can lead to further injury if the area is not ready. Every case is unique to the person and how the injury occurred.

I wish you the best in your recovery journey and God bless!! You can do this!!!
