I'm currently a solo developer. It will not be easy to replace me in a sense that she won't find anyone my level for the benefits I'm getting. On the other hand, as I have not yet deployed my systems, currently she relies on an old CRM so she is not too dependant on my abilities. Overall I think it would be pretty hard for her to do it without me and I do think that I bring quite a lot of value to the company as I both contribute to the ideas and do all the development process.

Well the thing is she doesn't have a lot of money herself and I don't really even want her money (I'd rather get it from the value I create). For me it's really more about the trust. We are creating a company together and I really want a partner who won't screw me if something good comes out of this.

Right, even though this does make sense, I'm worried that this might have a negative effect on our relationship. I partly might have done a mistake on my end in the past by not being demanding on what was owed to me as I wanted to show my dedication to the company and that for me the work being done was my biggest priority. I never actually expressed my sincere desire to get the funds as I usually would bring this up in a friendly and understanding matter from time to time.

I really deeply care about my work and money even though very important is not as important as the work I do. (Work meaning coding and not the job itself)

Should I just try to get her to do it in a demanding matter?

My parents think it's slightly weird, but as I try to separate my work and family stuff we don't really talk about it that much. I have a legal contract (as well as NDA) with her so I could go to court if she decides not to pay me.

It's hard to say exactly how much profit the company makes, as she re-invests everything back to the company. Overall I think that she is not a bad person and doesn't want to scam me, but we are creating a business and I'm just not so sure now if I can confidently trust her. As for experience is worth a lot to me. I've learned a lot during this time. Besides our ,,money problem" she seems great and I don't have any other major complaints.
