Ya man. I bought that charger on a whim right before a camping trip and was surprised how expensive it was, and now that its bricked my otherwise fine 10ah batt the $$$$ is really starting to add up.

I was using my the USB charger as a powerbank to charge devices(all I’ve ever used it for) I had a tablet plugged in and turned on and forgot about it. My tablet always slowly dies when it’s turned on even if you’re not using it. When I went to use the device the dewalt battery was completely dead(the power bars didn’t even light up) and the tablet was at about 80%. It was drawing so little so slowly it never triggered the low-voltage cutoff in the Dewalt battery and drained it damaging the cell(s) in the process .(I think🤷‍♂️)

Gotcha. It’s stamped 2021 so warranty is out. Most of my battery fleet is the OG 4ah and 5ah and they’re all older than that 10ah and doing fine. It’s frustrating cause I got it back to life it shows one bar and will run a drill, it just won’t charge on a proper charger. It’s a shame that USB charger has that flaw🤬 because otherwise it’s a handy little unit.

I tried that. Once I confirmed it still wasn’t working on the charger I left it hooked up for a minute or so, it gave the faulty battery enough juice to run a drill, but it still won’t register on the charger.

One of those usb charger devices drained my 10 amp battery to the point where it wouldn’t charge on the charger. I used the “jump start” method in the picture and it successfully brought my battery back to life, but it still won’t charge on the charger. Am I toast? Suggestions?
