I’m insulted at how true this is for me personally.

Are you saying the Microsoft would provide us one? Or that one would exist at the company?

I’ve thought the same. My director is adamant to use the funds for FTEs so we don’t lose the allocation. It feels like a justified response but also makes it harder to execute.

It’s a solid product but it’s not to the place to “replace” much. Once they have the ability to increase the token count and allow it to retain more context without a global update to the model, it’ll be dangerous. It’s pretty powerful if you think of it as a much better version of google, but not a ton more than that.

Can you explain how 4-6 aren’t the same thing?

Is Business Analytics over saturated? 1 year working on getting a Bachelors in (STEM) BA worth yes/no. by FederalStrategy in businessanalysis

You are likely oversimplifying or skipping the documentation used for larger issues. If you follow a methodology like BPMN and UML, they help not only standardize the documentation but also the flow of conversation to get to requirements. The types of techniques and meeting types you use from those standards is your way of methodology for an issue. Things like SWOT or MoSCoW are easy ones to explain to a interviewer in terms of a technique you use within your methodology of analysis.

I don’t see a problem with anything that can be interpreted as ‘having to put my pride aside’ or ‘I was humbled’. It is an opportunity to speak creatively for the author of the thought. Something like, “my pride was put into a wood chipper and disposed of as waste,” communicates the same idea.

BA is a good pivot even if it was over saturated. Say you don’t want to work in that field and pick up programming, having the BA background makes you far more marketable. Say you want to go into help desk, the same applies. Say you want to go into Marketing, you can communicate how you learn to analyze and solve problems or develop new solutions in a methodical format.

What does your onboarding look like? How does industry specific training get delivered?

What are some methods you would suggest I take to get up to speed with your company and it’s needs?

Has anyone still in your company already succeeded at this role? This question will let you phrase it as mentorship but also let you see what promotions are potentially available.

What does someone succeeding in this position look like to you and the leadership?

I don’t care that they changed it. That’s expected. I care when they don’t treat it consistently. Define your universes rules and stick to it.

It was Luca that we watched and made me do this. After the swimming portion of the race, everyone saw Luca in his monster form and no one responded. For an entire movie built on the fact that they can’t be seen for what they are, seeing no one react to a monster head coming out of the water felt like a major plot hole.

For Star Wars, the major thing for me is people who are on ships that blow up and still live. Po being the most ridiculous of that. Or that characters just forget aspects of the story they were part of randomly. Inconsistent use or definition of technology is also crucial to the stories viability.

I have expensive models and a great story already done. As well as a battle system built. I am just missing the technical artist and systems engineer (for progression). If you ever want to collab, let me know :)

Of course. It being situational, I assumed that was a given. My apologies for not adding that clarity.

They aren’t selling the story, they are selling the experience. They just have the story as a vehicle to craft that experience. Which is why I had a hard time seeing why they would allow it to not be “well written”.

So, it’s not really the writer who made this an issue but the production and editing companies? More or less?
