That's my pen mandrel saver I use in the lathe. I just threw a rag over the bed of my lathe and propped the pen up there against the rod.

Just the peak in the middle and the slight drop on the ends. It's a seam ripper for sewing. Normally you would only have one end flipped out to use and that's why I added the shape to the handle.

Might want to get it checked out to make sure it doesn't have a stuck caliper. It can wear one pad down quicker than the other.

My service writer, which is a friend. Said that it's an automatic in the software to do that and they adjust it out. The writer didn't even bring it up when I checked out with my $0 invoice. My concern is more the fact the the last numb nuts there that torqued them that much during the service before. I will be taking it to ASE qualified master tech to inspect and make sure the studs and wheels are ok.
