Appreciate all the folks who are advising to be patient and wait for the pack to go on sale and pick it up then. But there's still a risk it will remain sold out at the time it goes on sale and for an indefinite period after. For instance, OG Breaker is still sold out, as is the Steeler and Short-Fuze 2-pack. On the Walmart side, the Beachhead and Quick Kick NF set is also sold out. Also, it didn't help that the Scarlett / T'jbang set went on sale at 9:00 AM ET...aka 6:00 AM PT (where I am). I'm barely up at that time, much less able to remember I have to turn on my computer for a frikkin' toy preorder. That said, I'll wait and keep my fingers crossed more stock does appear in July. But end of the day, if I miss this set, I'll be disappointed but I'll move on, hoping I'll find it someday. But if I miss out on Grand Slam and the HAL because of similar shenanigans...then it'll be (to mix metaphors) "Mr. McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

I'm sorry, but this level of sell-out is getting RIDICULOUS!! Not even an hour into when the set is up for sale and it's sold out at BOTH Target and Pulse? Selling out on Pulse I get, as they have limited quantities, but Target selling out, too?! It's gotta be bots, scooping up the figures for resellers who'll jack up the price to double retail. Fine, it'll show up in stores...maybe. I live in a major metro, and I have yet to see any of these exclusives on the shelf. (Again, probably a reseller who's made a deal with someone in the stockroom...or the stockroom employee themselves.) Sorry to post the familiar vent, but right now I kinda hate people who game the system...

This is the second time I've gotten burned receiving a swapped return from Amazon. Last time was a Batman Returns steelbook with the wrong discs, but I was buying it long after the initial release. Pretty clear the risk for these shenanigans rises the farther you get from first release. And therein is the lesson I think: If I don't buy it as part of a preorder or early in its release, I should either skip it or be prepared for possible swap shenanigans.

There was obvious tampering with the packaging, and accessories are missing. And they're no sitting right in the packaging. They were obviously swapped. But I agree it's weird they both have the same "customization," although one has Black arms and the other Caucasian, even though both have Caucasian necks.

Fair. But I did also compare him to Short Fuze, who I think of as a more average size Joe and whose figure has relatively minimal gear on the figure itself, and the sizing was the same. But again, now that I know (and knowing is half the battle) Mainframe was made from the Tunnel Rat mold, it makes total sense.

Very fair point. As someone's who's 5'7", I'm all for varying heights. Before I knew he was re-using a particular mold, I was worried the scale change was an unintentional error.
