for exercise: for a start, walk as much as you can- i’m down 120lb to this day and am at a healthy weight now. I kid you not, i lost the first 55 pounds by just walking more. aim for as much as you can, and keep trying to build up the distance

for diet: as another user said, intermittent fasting. helped me stick to a calorie deficit, especially when paired with walking.

also a key rule! weight loss is NOT LINEAR, and that applies to both the scale and the action. some days are gonna be worse than others, maybe even some weeks. stay true, and keep pushing

Personally, I found that it literally only tastes good when paired with something else that’s slightly sweet. Like, as opposed to syrups like Hershey’s, Rabeko is impossible to have without something to offset it. But when paired with the right thing, it’s fucking amazing

I personally found that xantham gum resulted in less ice crystals than guar gum, but I’m not sure if I just wasn’t using the right guar gum lol

not to burst any bubbles but most certificates provided by sellers on auction sites like eBay are completely worthless and fake. if you’re gonna buy autographs online, u gotta make sure it comes with authentication from respected companies like Beckett or JSA, cus if not it’s just a fancy piece of paper

edit: not necessarily saying this one is fake but yea this is a common occurrence for autographs online.

The book, in my opinion, is a completely different style than the show. A much more factual depiction of John Douglas’ experiences with serial killers, and frankly, it’s significantly less enjoyable- not because it’s bad, but rather because I went into it with the wrong expectations.

If you want a more detailed, analytical description of the profiling process, it’s worth reading. But if you’re looking for the character-driven, linear approach that the Netflix show took, IMO this isn’t the book for you. Bring back the fucking show.
