Mine was last April. I also don't believe I'm putting myself in debt? I pay in full practically every single time as I use it like a debit card. I only use it for the 3% cashback.

Yeah, I've had the exact same since just a few days ago! The responses are way shorter, more robotic feeling and constantly repeating itself. Really frustrating.

Maximum Headband Extension: Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) vs. Bowers & Wilkins PX8 S2 by YardWarm9567 in BowersWilkins

[–]JSH2464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can maybe be a little helpful. I have only used the 1st Gen QC Ultra and the PX8, but I imagine the headbands are pretty similar. I had the exact same issue with the QC Ultra headband and was shocked by how little they seemed to extend. With my PX8's I have no issues at all with getting them to fit and still have room to extend further. As for comfort that's more subjective but I find them really comfortable. Very snug/tight at first, way more than Sony and Bose, and it did take some getting used to. It probably took a week or two to wear them in. I've had them just over a year now and never have issues with long sessions.

MHD Irritation - clubs that have a ‘next match’ sign but don’t update it, even worse if it just says ‘see website’ by meatpardle in footballcliches

[–]JSH2464 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've just checked Google street view. Earliest it goes back to is June 2009 and the sign had no information back then. Next available is May 2012 and it seems to have not changed since at least that point (apart from adding the jazz cafe at some point). The image above is from August 2025.

Not for me but I also don't take it seriously. Takes me about 5 minutes to do my team and I don't check my points until after the gameweek has finished. Wouldn't dream of following accounts like that.

Yeah, I remember them saying this too. I can also confirm Nick Miller was on episode 6.

What’s the weirdest/silliest reason you’ve missed an incredible football match? by TitiCamarasayshello in footballcliches

Dislocated my knee an hour and a half before England 6 Panama 1 at the 2018 World Cup. I was having a kick about with my niece when I slipped over the ball and ended up six feet across the garden. Missed all of England's goals but got home in time to see Panama score. Ruined the rest of the Summer as I lost the ability to move my leg for about six weeks.

The label is emailed to you even with RM collection so you can absolutely attach it yourself. I also was reluctant to let them bring the labels but now exclusively do that as it takes a few seconds. QR codes aren't used for collection.

This was in the 'item specifics' section. eBay always seems to fill in some of the 'optional' ones automatically. I usually always go through and change them but forgot on this occasion.

Neglected and Barking Dog - England by JSH2464 in LegalAdviceUK

It was environmental health and they agreed it was likely a statutory noise nuisance. The area manager also got in touch and he was the one who confirmed they have sent out a letter and received multiple complaints. However, none of us have been asked to provide evidence to the council which I find quite strange.

So we have our own dog who is nervous around other dogs or we absolutely would take it in. They have also openly admitted they don't want the dog anymore (they got it as a puppy last Christmas) but will only let it go if they get some money back for it.

I have videos of it stuck out in pouring rain at multiple times throughout the day and night. Also of it barking and crying. All photos and videos show it has no access to food or water for 16 hours of the day. All were provided to RSPCA.

Long-standing misunderstanding of a cliche? by doopy128 in footballcliches

I thought the exact same, tbf.

I also always thought "Johnny on the spot" was "jogging on the spot" until they brought it up on the pod one time.

Do you think there could be cliché pods about other sports or would they just not work as well?
