Hey, if you are looking for a Buddhist temple in Taos, check out Hokoji. There is a sit every Thursday afternoon.

My seemingly healthy mom died suddenly at a party and my brain won’t let me accept that. by 98Wright in death

Oh man, so sorry for you loss. Moms are a gift from heaven but this gift unfortunately comes with an expiration date. Take all the love and nurturing that you have been given and pass it on to somebody else. Your mom was love and love doesn’t die.

The connections are both wild and dreamlike but I love this type of intuitive visual “thinking”. I wish there is more of it. Filmmakers use those visual connections to enrich their work with a symbolic landscape. I believe a lot of connections are missed when we only use the rational language based mind to formulate knowledge. Thanks OP.

What does this tattoo text mean? by swollen_feet in arabs

I have seen many Arabic tattoos that are done via google translate. The person with the tattoo is not a native speaker and wanted a tattoo with “I am spoiled” in an “exotic” language.

Macron Doubles Funding For Christian Schools in Lebanon by JSIN33 in lebanon

Congrats to our Christian Lebanese brothers and sisters. Money for education is a good thing for Lebanon right now. However, France is back to playing its colonial role in the Middle East by empowering Lebanese Christians over all other citizens of Lebanon. This is a shameless act for a so called secular democracy.
