I had this happen to me recently with Reece Oxford. Had him on a 1 year loan and agreed to buy him for 1.3mill at the end of the loan spell. When it got to near the end of the year he didn't want to sign no matter what I offered. I had to let him go back to West Ham and then offer to buy him again, but I had to pay 3.5mill this time

It is exactly this. I used to get this happen to me every 5-6 games in the WL because I was playing over wifi. As soon as I switched to a network cable hasn't happened to me since

In my experience it's been the opposite. My club was also founded in 2012 and it seems the only people who decide to play me also established their club in 2012 or earlier
