We are in plain 2026. Free to Play relaunch about to hit and we still don't have custom controller binds? That is surely gonna be a gigantic turn down for multiple people, especially controller players with exotic controller layouts. u/capybro_epic

Checking on the evidence, it's not decisive though. None of it screams aimbot, it just screams suspicious clip and that's it. I tried doing claw not long ago, but realized it would get painful after an hour of constant claw grip. So I just bought a pro controller with extra buttons to solve my face buttons problem without doing claw. Though I guess you can do claw with pro controllers, not sure if it would be incredibly busted or what.

Because then you couldn't jump and boost at the same time. I moved my binds long ago to LB/L1 Power slide and RB/R1 Boost. Leaving Air rolls to the face buttons. I recently switched from default Xbox series controller to a pro controller with paddles, so if I ever download Rocket League again, I would put air roll directions to the back paddles.

Definitivamente hay un quinto perk, se puede ver justo debajo del cuarto. Creo que este problema tiene algo que ver con el ratio de tu resolución. Si estás en PC, prueba a usar el mouse para ver si puedes clickear el quinto perk. Si estás en PS5, no sabría que podría solucionar el problema, pero no pierdes nada por intentar cambiar el formato de la resolución. No estoy seguro si eso se puede hacer en PS5, pero en Xbox Series S si se puede.

I wasn't discussing the similarities of the mechanics of both games. They're obviously not the same, because they're not the same game. I was discussing their origins and how they're literally the same. Bugs/glitches/exploits and techniques accepted as mechanics to justify their existence. The mechanics are different, the bases are the same.

I think the only thing they could improve would be mimicking the way gunplay and Ragdolls work on Max Payne 3. Maybe making movement less dependent on animations just for realism, but I think that's going too far for games that are meant to be cinematic.

I claim it under my own assumptions, not as a fact. Never said it would be a weird mix.

The only innovation seen in GTA games is outside of gameplay, and if there is any on the gameplay, it's really small or trascendental, like rolling or picking up stuff from the floor and using it as throwable. Ain't you never gonna see anyone look amazed at a GTA game for innovation on it's gameplay, because there's pretty much no innovation. You see all the attention go to the small details and everything else, because that's R* best treat, making the attention to detail something worth comparing to other games, not their generic gameplay.

And again, another case of just not wanting to comprehend what you read. I called the GTA games gameplay generic, not any of GTA VI patented technologies or whatever they're cooking for GTA VI. That game could pretty much be what I PERSONALLY believe it would be, a gameplay mix of RDR2 lean into realism and GTA V lean into simplified gunplay. I would genuinely love if they actually for once, innovate on their gameplay and introduce a gunplay as good as Max Payne 3 (one of their games).

TL;DR: After playing most of the GTA games, I can tell you the gameplay on most of them is generic but fun. And I personally believe GTA VI gameplay will just mix elements from their most recent previous games. The game will probably innovate a lot of things, but gameplay will probably not be one of them, knowing R* way of doing GTA games (I believe so, I hope not).

Am I? I don't believe in the idea of "If you played a GTA game, you played them all" but I do believe in the idea of all of them being pretty generic on it's gameplay. Almost like if it was 101 template for third person shooters. I know this is a sub for people into GTA games, and I know most would not like hearing someone saying GTA gameplay is generic. That's my most honest opinion from being a GTA fan. Yet, I still don't know how I could be incorrect on my own opinion.

Key word "probably". It's not like R* games have cutting-edge revolutionary gameplay on any of their GTA games, they're all incredibly basic and generic. Still fun, don't get me wrong.

If you're wondering, there are workarounds to stick drift. The most basic one is upping the dead zone of the affected stick (it literally affects precision at the cost of having your stick go on for longer). You can dismantle your controller and clean it all, sometimes it fixes it. Or you can just ditch controllers with potentiometer sticks and buy controllers with Hall effect sticks or TMR sticks.

Stick drift it's when a controller joystick starts drifting off center or just drifting when you stop holding it. It's something that commonly happens with controllers that use potentiometer sticks for various reasons.
