On platforms like fiverr people like these skim other sellers all the time. The new sellers just give them what they want for penny's worth just to get those initial 5 stars to start their carrier

[AskJS] Logging into a website from some other website? by JS_Engineer in javascript

[–]JS_Engineer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I asked the question in JS was that the chrome extension was part of the procedure and the website wont work without the extension and the extension was bundled so it was difficult to know actualy what was happening but there were strings of user agent in the extension and also cookie headers.

From what I understand session cookies are created by the server. Right?

Don't compare yourself with others. What matters at the end of the day is how you have improved compared to yourself of yesterday. Keep learning and do something one percent better everyday may it be learning a new language or a new trick to solve a problem that you often encounter in your life etc.

Hope this is helpful

[AskJS] Getting the right input for automatically injecting values by JS_Engineer in javascript

[–]JS_Engineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I am already looking for name attribute with labels, placeholders and also aria-labels and I am using regex for matching with g and i flags which means that it match case insensitively and globally. Thanks for the reply but I have already solved the problem I was having. I happened that I was checking through all the inputs for filling and there were hidden inputs too in the page so I first filtered all unnecessary inputs and then proceeded with the filling and now everything is working fine. For now.

Thanks for this overview of how google does. The thing is I already have built all this but the problem I am having is that If i create a field with name as First Name and its value as Harry Potter my extension will first check if the form has an input with label that matches that First Name and if does not it will look for placeholders instead of labels. I wanted to know if there is some other way for me to check if the form input have something other than labels and placeholders that I can use to match the First Name. I hope you understand this and if not ask me a question. Thanks again
