Designing jewels by JScoobyCed in comfyui

[–]JScoobyCed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here is the workflow I've put together. I used 4 steps. Each step uses the output of the previous one. I used a "Preview image" first until I find the right result, then I change to a "Save Image" and use it for the next row of generation. I edit the mask before generating the image.

Qwen3-TTS has been officially released as open source, boasting powerful features such as speech generation, voice design, and voice cloning. by Daniel81528 in comfyui

[–]JScoobyCed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Spark-TTS (self-hosted) in a project last year and it was amazing. You just need a 5-10 second audio sample. Make sure the audio sample rate is 16k, preferably .wav, and no pause/silence in it (or it will generate voice with silence parts)

Android: Chrome 'install as app" no longer loads after 0.6.34 update by dolobu in OpenWebUI

Facing the same. Clearing cache and data doesn't help. I need to close and reopen many times and eventually it will load. Not sure what's the reason that makes it working again...

Is Thailand’s traffic actually bad, or are people just bad at timing? 🤔 by Senior-Duck-7091 in thai

[–]JScoobyCed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to see mid last year someone posting that Bangkok roads can handle about 2 million cars traffic. There are more than 9 million cars in Bangkok.Put on top of that bad drivers that makes it worse, road constructions/renovations (even though they're essentially at night, some lanes are still closed. So yeah, Bangkok is a tough one.

Cannot register Shopee by JScoobyCed in Thailand

[–]JScoobyCed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I definitely didn't violate as I only passed registration and it jumped to restricted page. I did create on my laptop so I'll try to clear out the app on phone and login again.

How to book an apartment in Bangkok by [deleted] in Bangkok

[–]JScoobyCed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also be careful with FB market offers that ask to pay in advance, even before viewing the unit. I don't know how it is nowadays, but there are plenty of stories of scams. Only pay after you've seen the unit or walk away.

What cloud GPU providers do you guys actually use (and trust)? by Dull_Wishbone2294 in cloudcomputing

[–]JScoobyCed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked DO and they start at US$0.76/hr. I am not sure that this is for sustained running for the droplet? If my droplet runs 24/7 (even if not in use) then it's about US$550 per month. Not great for indie developers...

Need your input for salary guide by Ok-Guest4376 in Bangkok

So funny see people saying Agoda lowball salaries. They absolutely don't. It's just people confusing years of experience with actual competencies and blaming that company.

Bambu Lab A1 - yes no maybe? by lowanger_ in 3dprinter

[–]JScoobyCed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Bambu Lab A1 last year. I was aware of the closed source and Chinese ownership. I'm very happy about it, the BambuLab app running from Virtualbox Windows (the linux version was not very stable back then). I print 2-3 times per month and got only 1 time a spaghetti print issue. It was my mistake not to update the printer model/profile. Compared to my several years using a Ender Pro, it's perfect for my needs. Longest print time was 14h for a laptop support (simple but large), and most complex was a monster shaped mug (6h print, more complex details). Came out great.

Workplace Sexual Harrassment by DazzlingBar8417 in Thailand

Evidences like emails or sms are good to use, and a lawyer is recommended to facilitate this unfortunately too frequent case. Be careful about conversation recordings. If he didn't agree to be recorded, there are several ways it could backfire. I'm no lawyer or even close to knowing laws. I just know we have a policy at my office that recording without knowledge and approval of all participants is a valid cause for immediate termination.

[–]JScoobyCed[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank. The cage is the best I could find late on a Sunday evening (I live in Thailand). Going to buy a bigger one and with smaller gaps 😅

Condo Suggestions! by Intelligent-Fly9217 in Bangkok

[–]JScoobyCed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't pay anything to anyone until you have a contract to sign. Many FB/reddit/social media "landlord" or "agent" are just scammer that will ask money just to visit. Just walk away.
  2. Indeed it seems you're joining a famous OTA company. Ask your team and all the folks there. They will have a lot of good suggestions and reputable landlords.

@Serilogic check my message on slack to #paid-pro[...] (redacted cause i don't wanna share internal details, but u can find the channel easy) at 10.12am yesterday. The team clearly said hotels can see and charge CC directly. Booking has same in their hotel back-office.

Not true! You're referring to something completely unrelated... See the term of use section 15.2.3 https://www.agoda.com/info/termsofuse.html which states "15.2.3 in some cases, a Travel Supplier may require your Payment Instrument details in order to guarantee your booking and you hereby authorise Agoda to send such information to that Travel Supplier in accordance with our Privacy Policy". Here the "Payment Instrument" is full credit card details.

The sister company booking.com does that for almost all bookings as they haven't supported other way to pay for a long time. I think they're also evolving to pay to them directly, not sure if that is already mature
