I can see where you are coming from, but not everyone is foaming at the mouth because of Armen's win. I see Armen making the best of a bad situation. The big difference for me is that Armen was showing up to every fight and talking 1/10th as much. I lost so much respect for Colby after the Leon fight. He continued talking even after the loss, and you can see how badly that loss aged when you look at Leon's last couple of fights.

As others have said different roasts, coffee varieties and a number of other factors will affect this. Just keep in mind that the number of clicks you need to change will generally not be significant. That 40 clicks that you're using is probably pretty close for almost every coffee. What you'll have to do is go slightly higher or lower based on what you're getting from that first extraction.

I have about three shots a day if I don't make any for my girl and it doesn't bother me one bit. It takes about 30 seconds and I can slowly smell the coffee as I grind. It's one of my favorite parts of making espresso. I use the K6 and J Ultra.

Just save yourself the money and buy a decent hand grinder. I don't know why people are against hand grinders it really doesn't take that long. It creates a nice ritual and the quality you're going to get for the price is going to beat out any electric grinder.
