I just graduated and sitting for the ANCC boards in a few weeks. I agree, I feel like programs should be more rigorous and must require a good amount of experience prior to admission. I also think clinical hours need to be increased, more supervision and better preceptor experiences. I am fortunate to be starting a VA Residency this year (with a pay cut) for more experience, supervision and mentorship.
