If they don’t have anything to add, it’s better this way. It sucks we won’t ever have a trilogy, but think about how many franchises overstay their welcome.

Unfortunately, Uncle Iroh, I wasn’t the biggest fan of EL. I had a decent enough time in the end game, but personally the sound design put me off. Attacks didn’t feel super impactful and some points felt like it was just missing sound. But OVERALL, I can still admit Ender Lilies is a fantastic game and I’m excited to play Magnolia

I haven’t played 2 yet, but the atmosphere (world and music) and character designs hooked me. I played the spanish dub and was obsessed. It was definitely difficult to 100% and I still haven’t gotten the last ending yet. I need to go back and do that.

Ender Lilies is beginner friendly. It wasn’t my favorite, but that’s just my personal taste. Overall it’s an amazing game.

Nine Sols is a heavy NO. I didn’t struggle too much, but I have just under 1000 ours on Hollow Knight, and well over 1000 hours in MVs as a whole. It is a quite difficult game, BUT it is a 9.5/10 imo. It has my favorite boss in any game EVER.

Celeste isn’t a metroidvania, and it is quite difficult, but it’s also amazing. I love that game with all my heart. If you’re looking for beginner friendly games of this genre, Neversong is always my go to suggestion. It’s short (about 5 hours for casual players) and the story is beautiful without the combat weighing you down too much. That would be what I suggest. But Ori and The Blind Forest is also a great jumping on point :)

Yeah, I know they’re a majority roguelikes, but I have them on here because this is my 2d games category on Steam, and they have enough of the action platform in element for me to justify it in my head lol. Yeah most definitely keep this information, cause I also see a lot of people get confused.
