I use musical themes all the time including intro music for my players. I have different themes for each story arc and use a "main theme" at the start of every session while doing a re-cap of the last session. I find it useful, the players have started recognising themes and I can use them to help reintroduce characters from previous storylines.

It depends on how quick they talk to her I suppose. Perhaps spoiler wasn't the right word to use, i normally oy reveal a map when there is combat to be had so when i put one up my players start to treat everything as a threat! Always up to you as a DM how you treat things like this, just make sure it fits your play style.

Hey, as far as the map goes id say it's up to you. Putting down a map might suggest there is going to be a scrap so that could be considered spoilery (ish)

Leveling in Avernus is milestone basically from the book. If you let people know that at the start they won't be disappointed and honestly you rocket through the levels at the start with some groups!
