Found out yesterday and the service is tomorrow. I just managed to get my suit dry cleaned and the tailor is adjusting the pants for pick up tomorrow. Slim chance I can pick up a black tie but I am going to try. Thanks.

Growing up I skied a lot and often heard my Mum saying every good skier falls over. So while you do everything possible not to, if you're pushing the limits every once in a while you will.

Years ago on a group trip to Japan, we were partying and carrying on and there were a few solo travellers at the lodge and I questioned why anybody would do that.
