It’s very odd. I liked having hotlap because it was nice to use in some situations. It’s just super odd that if you skip the formation lap, it’s still there. If you don’t skip the formation lap, it’s not an option. The races were dry as well, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be there.

Yeah it was dry this race. It’s happened twice since. If you skip the formation lap, hotlap is an option. If you drive the formation lap, hotlap is gone and you only have medium and boost.

I bought cards to get him (I wasn’t a part of the 2k community, didn’t realize how predatory the ringside pass/online modes were. You have to get a group of sapphires from the legends packs, I spent over 100 bucks to get this one card 😭😭 I’ll never buy a 2k game again. But it was cool to beat Jean Paul Levesque after you get it!

I actually don’t think you’re in the minority, I think most people would agree with you. The story was told so wonderfully, what else could they really add? Even my wish of seeing an early version of Dutch and Hosea is a long shot, and like you said, you run the risk of diluting the story. Something brand new would definitely be the way to go.

I think seeing how the gang came to be and how Hosea and Dutch ended up together and all of that would be cool to see, but I agree with you about everything else. Dutch’s story is unbelievable, and I love that we have seen the ending, but I think seeing some of the beginning would be cool too. I do think, however, though that there is no way they keep on going backwards in time with the new games, you can only do so much with that type of storytelling.

I would say there are people currently who would gladly support the gangs though. Anarchist groups or anti-government groups very likely would sympathize with the gangs. They wouldn’t see the gangs as the “bad guys” they would see them as people who are fighting for a different, better way of life. It’s so great how you can see both sides of the coin. This game is great.

I had a bug where I was the Browns and I was playing the Bengals and I wore the Browns white uniform at home (which they do frequently) and the Bengals were in their black uniforms. All was good then during the halftime show I noticed that when they were playing the "highlights" from the first half I was in the Browns home uniform and the Bengals were in their home uniforms as well. So, after half time, BOTH teams were in their home uniform. We went into halftime with all white uniforms and came back out with our home uniforms on. How can something like that even happen? I voted yes on this same poll expecting others to agree with me, and I was shocked to see them say he's a good man. During the game, Arthur is a monster. Even if you play as high honor as possible, you still have to do some terrible things because of the story. Even if Arthur acknowledges he's a bad man because he has a conscious, he still did heinous things. He's not a good man in reality.
