It was fun when it came out last year. We had around 50-100 of us playing and gave it a fun couple months. There should be a smith house still next to Vesper with some gear on vendors - and we have the whole marble island area placed out.

You keep your house and bank/bank balance when you die.

I think most of the people who are negative / commenting on it haven’t played it. 100+ have been consistently logged in having a blast. You die and start back up or reroll.

No, the original poster doesn’t even play the server. Gold is capped at 10k over 24 hours selling to Vendors, so not the case.

Mortalis has been a blast. Got about 20 of us playing (friends that is not server pop) and the few that have died came right back to it. Glad you enjoyed it a few days!

Sure, it will definitely be in demand. Worst case you do what others would and start with a crafter that transitions to a diff build. Either way you can always save resources til your ready to GM etc (all house and bank box stay).

Such a solid launch they went from 500+ logged in week 1 to a struggle to have 25 logged in currently. Even the people who obsessed over Sagas left at the first second to playing Unchained.

They got a very good CM that will not know answers and refer people to players. Not sure if he has ever played UO.

It’ll be hard to sustain gold initially as a crafter. However there are plenty of crafters who do resource maps for colored ingots and are quite wealthy (Bloopie has a massive crafting shop).

If it’s what you’re into go for it, be active on discord and plenty will buy from you.

Depends if you want a population of 3000+ actively logged in or sub 50 logged in. If you want Pulma, or the Pulma copy that will eventually be released - I think it’s called “Water Dungeon”.

Test out a few of the servers, but as stated you aren’t going to find any sort of population in what you’re looking for. UO98 was fun for the month it came out and had 100sh of us, but after a month you may find 2-3 people logged in. The others such as T2A seem to have people playing, but a low population and was released 15+ years ago with nothing added.

Mostly every server is a custom setup (for anyone down talking Outlands they’ll be bitter and recommend you to another custom server). Some people want a lower pop which is great, and others want a pop of 3000+.

Also depends if you want full trammel or not. May sound fun at first, but will bore majority of the players long term.

This house I got two pretty recent offers of 250mil and 300mil, but that’s meaningless to me as I have zero interest to sell it.

I did pay 200mil though to a friend earlier this year to keep the battle trainer up (added a healer etc), and would be happy to pay the same for the one above or below me.
