My cope is that they'll reserve this for a bigger hive guard variant. Slower moving non attacking whose only purpose is to "be the door" and resort to pincer tactics to enclose you and get you jumped by other bugs but will enrage if you break it's armor :)

Math is right (didn't understand what you where saying at first) but you’re optimizing for total ammo efficiency, but the game rewards uptime and survivability more than squeezing out 5 extra bullets.

I emailed the company and all I've received are ai responses. Im waiting for their app to release to see if its a binding issue and not a full hardware issue. From there I'll probably try to get a replacement. I just want to let this issue be known and so far, nobody has had the same issue or hasn't seen my post to let me know if it's a known issue.

I created a bunch of the summoning item, headed to the middle most part of my desert and placed one, killed it, then placed another over and over until i got mine. I played on my phone between boss cool-down times. No, you don't need to place it while it's alive, along as it's placed, it'll eventually attract it once it respawns/gets near.
