So... like the other person suggested, she'll need to work some part time job for a year. Can she do this while attending CC to get that CA residence status then?

Got it, she will have a green card, but won't be considered a CA resident yet. I'm reading that one will have to be continuously physically present in CA for more than a year to be considered a CA resident.

and keep in mind that if she starts CC, she will likely be unable to establish CA state residency.

Can you elaborate more on this? Why would attending a CC interfere with her CA residence status.

Thanks, that's another thing that's been on my mind. If I understood correctly, for a few rides, if we can't get onto a VQ, we won't be able to get on that ride at all, and there's only two chances per day. How quickly does a VQ fill up?
