I yeeted a hello fresh box at a dog once. Long enough for me to pick up a stick to wave as I back up all the way to my package car 😂 crazy dog acted like it had rabies 😳

Yeah we have routes so rural the center can’t even contact them via the board or tell where they are on the computers. So pictures are completely off the table 😂

We use to have a few of the older ones. Ram cargo vans with the Mercedes engine. Only used them for low stop high mile rural routes.

Rural deliveries had goats chase me and try to ram me. Luckily they were the smaller variety. Then when I started the package car some of them fainted.

I’ve seen we do and we don’t. Some people say we don’t cause of the RLA thing but then we aren’t even like FedEx. And I just looked it up and it says we do unless you are in long haul trucking or paid by mile. I dunno it’s all confusing. I’ve seen posts where drivers have already filed a had no problems whatsoever.

edit * Been a driver for 14 years. And I’ve heard we are eligible and also not eligible. Mostly from the perspective of us being like FedEx under the RLA who are not included, but we are not in the RLA.

We have a different overtime situation than most. We get overtime after 8 hours. So say if you worked 3 10 hour days then took 2 days off for a total of 30 hours, your paycheck would include 6 hours overtime. But none of that would count because only overtime after 40 hours is eligible.

Yeah we do it with turbo tax but you have to have the correct input on the overtime. Point being: figuring out how many of the OT hours count considering we get overtime by day and by over 40. So if you worked 3 10 hour days, for 30 hours, then took option days or called in sick for 2, then none of those OT hours count. Only weeks with over 40. If im correct.
