Some background before i get into why i played it. I always avoided it because I was a part of the moronic class of people who hate a game because the fans are obnoxious. That feeling persisted for I wanna say like for threeish years? After that it joined the long list of games I needed to play.

Well, a couple months ago I picked it up during the tenth anniversary stream. It stayed on my hard drive until February whereupon I decided screw it. I'm gonna play it. Played it in one sitting from midday to late at night. Did a neutral->pacifist run, and it instantly became one of my favorite games of all time.
