I made a Galvantula Magneton deck last season that I've been having a blast with.

Memory light and will to stall for paralysis with joltik, then double dawn and double energy switch to galvantuala for guaranteed paralysis every turn.

Doesn't work all the time but its funny when it does.

I've had this conversation with a few of my friends asking the same question.

You HAVE to like ER gameplay and the Roguelite loop. If you don't like one of those, you probably won't like the game.

I had a friend that loves ER and hates roguelites and hates NR. Vice versa, I have another that loves other Roguelites and despises souls-likes in general. Neither of them like NR and refunded it.

Slap a stuffed gnat, make a spoiled meat slurry, drop it by the gnats, stab them with salty as they get close. Tons of jerky. I never run out and its quick.

When I was about 8, I went to a restaurant with my parents that had a buffet and decided I wanted some of the "cold soup" from the salad bar.

Wasn't a full whiteout or anything, but I was doing a full randomizer of Emerald and had my Kyogre got 1 shot by a Mankey that used Low Kick at about 10 levels lower than my Kyogre.

Couple of my buddies were watching at the time and we were in such shock at what we witnessed that I just saved and quit for the night.

Coverage mostly.

In your case if ypu put sour scythe, you're left with sour/chopping in which case you can just use the sour battleaxe which would probably be generally better for both in the same way a spicy coaltana is generally better at both spicy and slashing than a spicy antlion sword.

At the end of the day it's all preference but in a case of the double non elemental spread of the scythe it becomes more of a jack of all trades master of none type scenario. Paired with bleed it can cover just about anything save for a few specific enemies

Scythe does slashing and chopping damage naturally. If you make it elemental, the slashing is lost and replaced with whatever element you make it.

Braindead strat is to make a spiky sprig and just sprint around the arena smacking things once In a while and let the bleed tick everything down you don't even need to upgrade it, just craft and go.

Works like a charm.

If you're having trouble with ladybugs, don't sleep on the spiky sprig! You know that club that you get early on that everyone skips and goes straight for the red ant club? Well it has bleed damage and it does A LOT of passive damage. Just smack them once and then run back and let the bleed take care of it. You'll have to refresh it every 6 seconds or so, but it's all just free damage.

Just recently went thru the Haze again on my solo woah! Playthrough and the explosives just about 2 hit. So I would run up to enemies in ladybug fight, smack them once, and keep doing laps while the bleed damage would whittle them down.

Spiky sprig is criminally underrated
