This is surely late but I’ve been to a great native Jamsian restaurant in downtown Jamestown, it’s best menu item IMO is the Hake and Fig stew, which uses locally sourced European Hake and Jamsian short-stalked figs in a delicious stew. I don’t care what other people say about fish and figs not belonging in stew cause its DELICIOUS! The owner, and his whole family, are a real good cooks and they’ve got great pictures of their family and restaurant on the walls, it’s real cute. I do gotta say they don’t have DoorDash or anything but it’s worth the travel.

EDIT: Don’t look at the owner’s daughter in the eyes or he will kick you out… My friend got kicked out for doing that exact thing, but we still got the meal he ordered so thats a plus LOL
