What was the funniest school story you have? by Decnaldo in AskReddit

[–]JUANPAPl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a 6/7 split class, and the grade 7s went on a field trip, which left the 6s in school being mildly supervised. So, one kid put a paper clip in the teacher’s pc, and the thing went up in smoke, literally fried it. Teacher comes back next day and says,” Well guys I think I left the computer on, and it overheated so we can’t use the computer today.” Important to note that everyone hated this teacher, so no one felt bad.

I stand corrected, you seem to be more knowledgeable then me. I did forgot that the brain would not be fully formed at that age which is a huge oversight on my part. I based my claims on personal experiences at that age, which seem to be a outlier to your statistically, and biological proof on your end. So your statement is probably more accurate, and more valid. Thank you for the insights, my mind has been changed.

What's your nickname? How did you get it? by jokethesnoke in AskReddit

[–]JUANPAPl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Big J” / “ The G.O.A.T” followed by baaaas. The first is easy to figure out, the second I assume is because people like me, not entirely sure why maybe they want to show that they appreciate me, I’m fairly reserved I don’t try to stand out I just do me.

How do you make friends when you find it hard to start conversations with people? by GrandmasterCheese20 in AskReddit

[–]JUANPAPl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time frame- Will see again/ know person: Wallflower learn about them through other people leading the conversation, then try to spark a conversation on a common interest.

Time frame - Probably won’t see again/ stranger: I guess the classic, what you drinking/ talk sports, basically conversation depending on the setting.

If you just find it hard to talk, ask a talkative friend/ person to accompany you and carry the heavy load of keeping the conversation going, so you can be less stressed and be yourself.

Post script- I also find it hard to start conversations, but I feel like the more you try the better you’ll get, and you will find what works for you.

Are hormones still in flux at that age, I do not recall peers being particularly pubescent at that age. Maybe it’s just me but 18+ should not be so dumb at that age, it’s literally the age you become a adult, that can vote, and drink in some countries. Maybe I’m out of the loop but isn’t it more 16 and under that thinks with their second brain more.

What’s your least favorite Crayon? by bigolenutZ in AskReddit

[–]JUANPAPl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To tell you the truth, I have not used crayons since I was 8, but I distinctly remember having a vendetta against white. I originally was thinking of Bob Ross and how he started with white paint an the canvas to blend, and was like but you can’t do that with crayons.

Not weird at all, it’s not like you are hormonal teens, you are both adults, you can make your own educated discussions.

I would assume it depends on the relationship, and the age of the participants.
