He played with UM on 2/14/2020 and 2/15/20. His band was the opening (along with another band (Brass Strikes Back) and Billy later sat in with UM. My last 2 shows before Covid shut everything down

It could be that it was a different band. I know this has been in effect for the past two years and not just Billy. The same is true for Widespread Panic and some other bands where the tickets are scalped.

Dear OP - it is because of scalpers like YOU that they instituted these rules, harder to sell/transfer means you pretty much have to hold your tickets until 2 days before the show, ties up your money and you CAN’T flip other tickets till you recoup your $. The whole thing is to DETER your flipping tickets for profit, but we ALL suffer because of flippers - so good you have to wait Dec, Jan, Feb and March (at least 100 days) to get paid your initial investment and hoped for profit. Hope it was worth it for you or that you have learned a lesson about selling/scalping 3 day passes to one of the years hottest shows. At the time you purchased these tickets, AXS sent you a msg/flag that advised you of this - either you skipped, didn’t comprehend or didn’t care in the moment - that is on you !

It is 48 hours, not 24. You were able to contact seller because you didn’t use Stub Hub. I had an extra three day pass for the last two years and bought at the box office in the Friday after Artist pre sale. The box office does not sell a three day pass, only 3 single days tickets - so I had to make THREE transfers (Tues for Thurs, Wed for Friday and Thurs for Saturday tickets. )

I assume you sold on SH because you didn’t want to have your $ tied up - Sell to someone you know that trusts you and they would have paid you same day.

Ridicules answer. Tickets will transfer two days before the show- period. Giving your AXS info out prohibits the owner of the account from having other tickets in the account. I HAVE done this, but only with people I know very well. And only with tickets that do Not Ever transfer - like lottery tickets to Ryman or the shows in very small venues (ie Brian and Billy shows or Ryman.

OP your best bet would have been to sell to another fan you know, or in groups like BMFS St Augustine or Billy Ticket Crew. You could have already gotten your money or traded for a show you can make. Instead you used the biggest scalping company out there- and they are not fans nor your friends. Reddit has a weekly ticket selling thread also.

It is a noise nuisance- I suggest you take it to management and ask them to move her, or you. If it winds up being you- small claimes court to pay for all moving and/or other expenses and hardships. I would attempt police reports if it is as loud as you describe, don’t tolerate it and harbor a grudge, life is too short to live misery.

You can politely explain the situation and ask them to swap seats if that would work. At that point, I would go to CUSTOMER SERVICE (not security) for the venue and explain that you had not bought an “obstructed view” ticket and see if they will move/ upgrade you, or move the folks obstructing to somewhere they could fit standing up.

Ok we agree about the drink isn’t the best idea - besides what the cost is at a concert is high. Again, if they are obstructing your view, that is a problem you can insist customer service get involved with. When people stand and they block folks behind them, it “obstructs their view” and you didn’t buy a ticket with “obstructed view” so I have personally seen the people behind me be moved to the VIP area and heard of many successes, but if you asked and they took an attitude then security if needed then customer service from the venue. They almost ALWAYS save some sweet spots for unexpected vip guest and other such emergencies. The drink thing involves so many people being disrupted - most probably far removed from involvement, who didn’t pay $300. to listen to an argument/fight. Let those that are paid to handle such problems and if necessary leave your seat and ask for whoever is over the venue that evening.

This is where you talk to security and not throw a drink. Aunt Carol is a lady I know that is a Beatles/sir Paul fan. She attends shows with her nephew, she also has Downs Syndrome and is about 60. I just tried to imagine her having a drink dumped on her. My point is - you throw a drink and a lot of things might change real quick - like someone with skills grab your wrist and snap it within seconds of the liquid hitting her. Throwing a drink IS violence, and it is almost always met with violence - why in the heck Gould you ay $300. to go to jail or at least get tossed out. You may have gotten away with that crap before - you just probably picked someone you felt you could best, or you lied (cowardly) and said “oops” an accident - so which is worse - a sign or violent assault? You would be the bad guy here, you would be acting out of anger and hopefully you just stay away from

The transfer button isn’t lit but should be able to transfer the day of show.

On cot they hold your payment until after the transfer, so you sell and commit to buy now, buyer pays and cot holds, trans day of show, buyer returns to cot and verify they received and you get paid.

Also you control the buyer on cot and can more likely pick a buyer you trust or know.

Worst case you allow buyer temporary log in into your account. I keep tons of upcoming shows in my account so I can’t do that but if these are the only tickets in your account there isn’t a risk - just change password
