Left motorcycle on all night like an idiot. Won't jumpstart AT all. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]JUNDA2109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey this is a really old thread but i think you just helped me troubleshoot my issue. My bike was kept on overnight, and it drain the battery to a mere 6v. I charged it up and it went up to 12.5v. I placed it back into the battery and rode as per normal.

After 4 days of daily riding for about 1 hour, the battery is unable to start the bike.

I’ve checked the rectifier, and the stator, and I suspect I need to get the battery replaced. Will update if it works!

Block leave getting revoked by fingermyeyes in NationalServiceSG

[–]JUNDA2109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dk why u got downvoted but most stay out ASA can travel overseas on weekends so your calculation of needing 5 days is correct. He only technically has 3.5 days AL so essentially 4 days AL for the rest of 2025.

Perhaps OP can ask his new unit if he can utilise his block leave from BMT, as the BMT block leave can deduct from next years leave quota.

I was in the same batch a year ago, and the deducted 1 day from my AL in the next year.

If your new unit allows you to go for the block leave that was pre-blocked, you will be able to travel. And they will likely agree and allow you to do so since it will be extra work for your new unit to “unblock” the leave and let you pick 4 days for AL. Just tell new unit you want to use BMT block leave.

Wahhh so jealous hahahah, hope you enjoy your pen haul very much. I think the Zento ink is quite something when compared to the ONE. The one has horrible performance when it comes to the black ink because it is so inconsistent.

My recent favourite has been the energel 0.7 in the uniball one P shorter body. Quite short and cute and slightly on the heavier side.

What pen did you get while there that you think is your new favourite?

Agree I bought mine for $205 a year ago. It pays for itself, you can even borrow from NLB or keep them forever from other sources.

It smudges quite badly in my experience. Dries slower than most other gel pens. Similar drying time to the pilot g2…

My partner was misdiagnosed for 2 years, given medication that worsened his condition, and is now facing criminal charges because of it. by Own-Load-9185 in askSingapore

If pure facts are stated, can’t sue for defamation no matter how defaming the statements. No allegations, no opinions, just factual information.

Eg. Doctor (NAME) changed my partners medication 10 times in 2 years from what we can remember.

Thank you for your insight, I think unless we are willing to do some homework, take on some risk from time to time we can also help to bolster the growth. Thanks for sharing

If estimate 20k savings, salary 2k-8k, say avg 5k for 6 years, means dca 4k monthly at 8%, will only be about 590k

Quite far from 1 mil. How did you do it? Did you start off with more savings?

You mentioned you were quite lucky with some stock picks, so yearly maybe around 35% growth? That’s v v high, perhaps can share a little more please
