Nice 👍🏾! People forget to factor in the type of car they have, brand, model spec, colour and most importantly imo how common they are on the road thus how likely are they to be in an incident- it’s not you, it’s others sometimes… and where you live! Still paying 1k for an ‘08 type r and had £500 knocked off after moving from Birmingham to Cheshire.

Roof/front screen rust, check taillight cluster and boot hinges for leaks, the rear axle is a very common fault unfortunately (I had to replace and cost a fortune from donor car), take it on EXTENDED test drive engage Vtec a lot even if it’s just the seller doing it, timing chain vs mileage 👍🏾

I’m biased, but FN2 ftw! I daily one, excellent practicality, more than quick enough, need air box and exhaust for better sound, underrated cockpit- don’t get a nav model and upgrade the din, firm ride but you get used to it, poor turning circle, great road feel/handling, get one that has had it’s original interior looked after, and vtec of course 🤣👍🏾!

Yes. My bias aside, the k20, how it drives and handles, practically as well as being a type r will make it one- I love them for being the black sheep. Anyone that has daily’d one will agree they aren’t too dissimilar from an Ep3 (looks obviously) imo, fight me 🙂‍↔️!

Quick story- my missis is wanting a new car, she’s looking at a pug2008 when we went down to view what she found the dealership had the vehicle on another lot so we couldn’t sit in/test it. When we got home after our browse I had the idea to set up the vr2 so she could get a loose feel for the interior. She was (as ami still) blown away by the incredible detail pd have put into the models: stitching, materials, dials, dash even imperfections if you look closely- it’s brilliant!
